I'm Dominiece Cox, the founder and managing director of Better Steps Life Skills Center, a passion-driven endeavor I established in 2014. At the age of 18, I embarked on a journey to assist individuals with disabilities in enhancing their independence in daily living. This initial endeavor soon blossomed into the development of a companion agency, driven by my unwavering commitment to supporting individuals in disadvantaged communities. My dedication lies in helping individuals achieve their aspirations by offering tailored life skills support and development. Over the years, I've actively served the southern region of Florida, making a positive impact on countless families through the initiatives undertaken at Better Steps Life Skills Center. Community engagement is a cornerstone of our work. We've organized numerous events to give back to the community, forging partnerships with entities like the Miami-Dade Police Department to host events specifically aimed at supporting disadvantaged families.
